pc restarts after windowsxp loading screen

Hello,

Happened a few weeks ago -- I turned on my pc -- no post screen!


Then a few days ago I tried my pc again and for some reason it ran normally.

But then a while ago there was a brown-out -- when I restarted my pc it was the old problem again -- no post screen.

I restarted --- thankfully there was a post screen, but with the error "No Disk Attached. Try network boot first, then local drives", after which the Windowsxp loading screen appears -- then the pc restarts by itself.

If the PC is restarting by itself, you may have a bad power supply.
If you are getting no post, there is a possibility that the battery is dead or low.

No POST is weird.

Just some ideas:
Maybe the brown-out just caused some of the files on your drive to become corrupt.
You could try safe mode...
You might also try disabling non-essential integrated stuff like sound card and network controller in bios and then boot.
