Not too long ago i was on a 32bit CPU (P4 based Xeon)
and couldnt wait till I had a 64bit machine.

Now after having a 64bit Win7 system
I am disappointed a little.

True enough driver support isnt the hassle it used to be but
it seems that from my reading around the forums is that
the only real reason to have 64bit is to support 4gb or more of ram.

I even tried using IE9-64bit and the support from even MS themselves
is horrible.

SILVERLIGHT (MS product!) only runs in 32bit IE9.

Now there is talk about 128bit CPUs in the near future

there hasnt been any 32bit CPUs made since the Pentum 4 days
if I have it right
though OEMs shipped 32bit OSes with 64bit machines LOL

so is there any hope for 64bit owners?
an article about the current state and future of 64bit computing would
be an interesting read IMHO
