The Epsom Stylus RX 425 with a USB connection prints fine. However, with it
connected if I try to use my dial up modem it just dials and dials and does
not connect to the internet. If I disconect the USB lead the modem works
fine. Any suggestions welcomed

Add a multi-port PCI USB v2.0 card to the PC.
~$10.00 US per USB v2.0 port.

You're probably seeing an IRQ conflict.
Try moving the modem to a different slot that doesn't share an IRQ with USB.
-or- better yet, get an external modem.
