Hello everyone

I am about to buy a monitor and I hear good things about

Hitachi CM721FB http://www.hitachidisplays.com/products/19_721F.htm

But I wanted to ask some experts ;) before I buy. I don't want a AG monitor (fear thoses lines) and I don't want to spend a lot plus I love the black of this monitor (yes I know about eye strain ; ). But what I really want is the Hitachi 772 http://www.hitachidisplays.com/products/19_772.htm
But that one sold out everywere.

So any opions are welcomed :)Thanks in advance

I only found the review below of the CM772ET. I'm not a shadow mask fan. You should learn to live or even like the lines of trinitron or diamondtron. The colors, brightness, and flatness more than make up for two vanishingly perceptible lines. Eizo f980 and cornerstone p1700 are two shadow masks awarded by displaymate (monitor diagnostics) for best shadow masks. If you don't care about the best, go for samsung at dirt cheap prices (955df).

I wouldn't chose a monitor for its case color or even design, unless that's more important than image quality to you, which only you can answer.

Quality is better than name brand, even regarding beloved AMD.
