What should I be looking for?

I have executed webfldrs.msi a couple times....every time I try to add a
network place, it is not seen as a valid folder.

Thanks in advance

George,

Many thanks for taking the time....

The system displays the "Cannot find Folder" error. The error message is
"The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another."

Please note that the web folder is accessible via Internet explorer.

Thanks

Is this accessed from the http server or the FTP server using ie? If the http server make sure it is Front Page Server Extensions enabled. If it is Check Server Extensions and Reset the Web. Web Folders can be a problem in Windows 2000 and that is why you do not want to install SP1 or ever have. For that Service Pack causes this issue. Why it is still available with this issue is beyond me. Try the above with IIS Manager and et me know how that goes. Make sure the folder has a _vti_bin as seen in IIS Manager. It is a virtual folder there is no Physical subfolder there. _vti_bin is what gives you the ability to make it a network connection for the http server.
