Does anybody know if the 8800GTX would work on my Asus A8N SLI deluxe motherboard?

I'm sure I read somewhere that it works fine with the premium edition but I just wanted to make sure it works fine on mine.

I've also got a Antec 535 PSU on 12v. Would this be fine for powering the system also?

Cheers

Ah cool!

Would you reccommend upgrading my 4200+ CPU to the FX 60 to get the most out of the 8800GTX too? Thinkin of gettin it or the 4800+ if I can find one (I've got the 4200+ currently and 2gb of Kingston RAM).

No, don't bother; if anything you could overclock your CPU a little.

Ive just bought a 8800gts for my A8n sli premium. The card just fits in the case, ( an asus vento by the way ) because the hard drive bay is in the way and the card is so long!
Thought you ought to bear that in mind cause the GTX version is even longer!!

You can use it in any Physical x16 PCI-E slot, and it will work.

Nevertheless, what crazypyro says is true, but I havent heard that that problem have become something big... so there are no worries about it.
