hi all,

my config :

core duo 6600
tagan 900 watts
p5b deluxe
8800gtx leadtek
western digital raptor 150giga
x-fi fatality
2 giga (2x1giga) corsaire 6400 pro

im about to order 2 more stick of this memory (6400 pro corsair), but im wondering if this motherboard REALLY supports 4 giga when its four stick of 1 giga each...i know max memory capacity of the p5b deluxe is 4 giga...i heard about instability on 680 board with more than 2 giga ram are installed..is it same on the p5b deluxe or anyone here has 4 giga installed on their p5b deluxe and running with no problem at all ? thanks !

I was going to do the same and go with the 4gb but someone told me not to bother since I was running windows xp. Something about 32bit applications hijacking anywhere from 512-1gb of ram so it would only show as 3gb. But this wouldn't apply to Windows vista since its 64bit or Linux either (i think)
Sorry I wish I could explain it better but I'm still trying to figure this crap out myself. If someone more tech savy could explain this I would greatly appreciate it
