Yup, ran 3d mark for the 1st time in ages today and on my 1st attempt hit 98xx, then 1051.

Specs:
925D 3.0Ghz oc 3.8Ghz
Asus p5nd2-sli, these boards wont go past 250mhz, hence the poor oc :(
DDR2 533Mhz, 1Gb
X1950XT with overdrive oc

Will pickup another 512x2 tomorrow, and thats it for this sys.

Think ive got a month or so good game time in '07 be4 work fully dominates my life again, so im not bothering with anything special right now.

Guessing 3dMark05? Definitely not 06 with those specs...

I got 11k on 06 with a slightly oc'ed E6700, 2GB DDR2 800, and an 8800GTX.

Yeah was 3d mark 05

Just used the overdrive util that ati provide
621-680Mhz and 900-930Mhz OC

Dont REALLY wanna mess with the card too much. Still having a few stability issues, mainly in CoD2, seems to hang every now and then, but i think this is more to do with certain parts of mobo overheating due to few fans as i run water.

If i do push the card to max with overdrive, i will get a VPU recover msg/crash after awhile.

Other than that im pretty pissed this mobo wont go past 250mhz, otherwise id crank this whore of a 925 up soo bad. Even from a stock 3.0-3.8 im still running stock voltage.... if only.

In other news re the 1950XT. Was getting strange probs with it... it seems if i install ATI tray, the card WONT throttle up during games. :?
Made a little lcd app for my newly aquired G15, and i thought id made a mistake, but even the ati tray graph confirmed, they gpu and ram were NOT revving up during any game. Installed older drivers, uninstalled ati tray, rei9nstalled newer drivers. Bingo, so i figure i wont use ati tray tools ne more.

Is the card on water too? If so, whats your loop made of?
I would advice you to use ATITool to OC, you will easily reach 700/500 with it. The new Catalyst Beta drivers seem to be working with the X1950XT too.

Theres the linky, Enjoy your demise

Loop is: Rad, rez, pump, cpu, gpu
Still gotta make a custom shroud for the rad with 2x 120mm fans, just using 1x 120 atm. Still, cpu temp has never gone above 50c

Your E-penis grows.....

Sry mate... i dont got one of them, just the real thing :p

BTW... how come your 6400 + 8800GST gets 17 and NumenorLord with his 6700 and GTX only get 11? :?
Link dont work either.

PS....

Because the 11k is in 3Dmark06, the newer benchmark.

3Dmark05 is kinda outdated now, even my 7900GT on air used to be able to hit 10k in it before I went to my 8800GTX

Try using ATITool or ATITray. Much more secure method of overclocking. Sapphire also has their own version "TRIXX" which loads up on Startup, unlike ATITools, but is essentially the same thing, except with some more nifty profile settings. Good stuff. Check it out, you'll push the most out of your card without getting artifacts and such.

Water parts from dangerden
CPU: TDX
GPU: Maze 4
Pump: D5
Rad: Oil cooler from ebay
Clamps and Hose: cheap $h!t from h/ware store im replacing now that ive figured out where everything will go :p
Rez: 600ml Coke bottle... no really, im serious.

As i said b4, ran prime 4 a whole day, even after taking off the rad fans for 10min at the end, cpu temp would not exceed 50c. Even after a good gaming stint it wont go much over 40c.

Ran 3d '06... i get 6k
Still rates quite well in the grand scheme of things. The highest score is ~13k, so imo anything above 10 is pretty special.

Orb is a little iffy sometimes, u just gotta keep trying.

There are no FM approved WHQL certified drivers for the G80 series yet, so the top score that shows in there are 7900GTX SLi and x1950XTX Crossfire systems.

If you do a project search for 8800GTX systems with non-FM approved WHQL drivers you'll see some higher results ;)

Thats still a pretty good score tho, I remember how chuffed I was to hit 10k in 05 and 6k in 06 with my 7900GT.

Care to post here and show them how to do it??

And you could just use a T-line to get that Coke bottle outta the way

Yeah, its a good little sys, have taken pix, and will be posting when i can bother uploading them. Its a good setup, still got a long was to go b4 its finished tho.
Change hose/fluids, relocate pump, new rez/t line, and fans for rad (the hard part). Then get some foam/rubber and line the case with it, super silent YEAH!

Problem is i cant find ne good shops in Ye Olde Perth Australia to get this stuff :(

Going away for a month next week so hopefully i can get at least something sorted b4 then.
