M2n32-sli-deluxe MoBo
Fx-62 CPU
2gb Corsair Xms Ram
Quad Sli 7950gx2's
2x 320gb Seagate PR Hardrives

I am sick of AMD, and my wife needs a comp, so im giving her my m2n32 Mobo, My Fx-62 and one of my 7950gx2's the other im going to step up to an
8800gtx (and possibly sli a second if i feel it necessary)

But i want an Awesome Intel CPU and I Strictly have my mind set on those two.

But im not sure which to be honest

I can get a Core 2 quad for about 995$

or a Core 2 Extreme for 750$

My future computer specs

Coolmax Ctg 1kw Powersupply

4gb G-skill

Evga 8800gtx

Future proof go with the Q6700 or wait for the Q6600 with will launch January 7th or 8th. There have been some articles showing that to get the maximum performance from one of those shiny new 8800 cards you want to have the fastest possible card. It also seems that overclocking the Q6700 to 3.2 or higher on air has been relatively easy.

Fastest gaming performance now XE6800. This processors should carry you through the most of 2007 even if a few games do come out next year that support multiple cores >2.
