Hi there!

After 6 months with almost no problems my WRT54G v.5 started to give me a lot of trouble, so I did some research and found out that the v.5 is a piece of crap! Now I’ve written to the shop where I bought the router, but they wont return it (freaking great..)

But now I need a new router, and I’m a bit scared to buy another linksys, but it seems that the Linksys WRT54G-L is a pretty good router? Is this true? Are there any better at that price?

Thanks in advance

Ofcourse make up your own mind but...

I personally think Linksys stinks. I have a DLink and love it. What are the specs that you are looking for?

Any standard Router will work. I would suggest that you get a regular router and then buy a cheap AP for it. That would give you a stable wireless connection. will cost you around 100 though altogether. Worth it though in the long run.
