i don't know this thread is on the right category, but here goes...

I was revisiting old reviews of an intel i5 2500k cpu and noticed that the calculations for this site is quite flawed.

The chart showed the time(in seconds) it took to finish the task.

Below the chart, they wrote that an i5-2500k is 45% faster than an i5-661, 50% faster than a phenomX4 975.

Correct me if i am wrong but it should be just 31% faster than an i5-661, and about 34% faster than a phenomX4 975.
OR
They could also say that an i5-661 is 45% slower than an i5-2500k and a phenom 975 is 50% slower than a 2500k.

are my calculations right?
or has my iq dropped 30%?

Your calculations are right... IMO

What it looks like they have done is take the difference between the two and divided that by the Core i5 score... (1670 - 1154 = 516 / 1154 = 0.447 * 100 = 44.7%)
