Thus far I have been able to pair the two devices and transfer contacts back
and forth. I can send a calendar event from the ipaq to the v551; however, the
time is often incorrect. If I dbl click on the OBEX File Transfer shortcut on
the ipaq, it shows 3 folders (audio, picture, and video) with dates of 1/1/70.
All the folders except audio are empty when viewed from the ipaq. Audio
contains the file TempToneDB.db. I can send this file to My Documents on the
ipaq. However, I am unable to send any files on the ipaq to the v551. When I
try, it has a very quick popup on the ipaq and nothing on the v551.

I am somewhat disappointed after hearing all the hype about using bluetooth.
Am I doing something incorrect or is this technology between these two devices
not ready for prime time. The absolute lack of any usable documentation does
not help.

Has anyone gotten these to devices to connect and transfer files correctly?

As a follow up ...

I can transfer video, audio, and picture files back and forth between the ipaq
2215 and the Motorola V551. I can send contacts and appointments from the ipaq
to the phone; however, sometimes the data is incorrect (incorrect time or the
name is messed up).

No matter what I do, I cannot send a contact or appointment from the v551 to
the 2215. I select send bluetooth on the phone, select the pocket_pc device,
and the phone searches but does not find the 2215. I know the session is there
because I can go the other way.

I have installed the latest HP BT drivers.
