I bought a cheap Realtek 100 NIC few months ago that I use.

Now I found an old Intel PRO 100 NIC which the chipset says sb82558b 1996.

I am wondering whether I should use the Intel or stay with the Realtek.

Suggestions?

It would really depend on the other network devices you are connecting to but I'd say that 99% of the time there will be to little difference to notice.
I myself would take the intel over a realtek but if that card is working fine for you there is no reason to change it.
