My 3500+ Venice did a little over 2.5ghz without me really messing with it and it idled in the mid 30's C on the stock cooler and rarely broke 50C at load.

I had that same cpu with a stock and I got my over 2.5 also and never ran into any temp issues.

I get my 3200+ venice core to 2.4 ghz no problem on the stock cooler. Temps aren't even close to being a problem at load.

My sig rig tops out in the low 40's on load with overvolt, but thats because of my TT Typhoon. On stock cooler you should get 2.6 probably, of course, a small overvolt may be necessary above that and load temps may breach 60. However, if its stable then temps don't matter :D
