Here is my build so far! How is everything looking? My only debate right now is 2gb or 4 gb(overkill??)

Intel e6600
nvidia 680i motherboard
seagate 500 gb SATA2 16 mg cache hard drive
2gb or 4gb 667hz ram
2 nvidia 7950 gt 512mb oc sli
750 watt thermaltake psu

I am not sure about XP home, but I know that XP pro supports 4 gigs.

Vista will have support for up to 8 gigs as long as you don't get the Vista "starter".

will i have to set up anything differnt if i'm using 4 gigs in xp pro or is it going to reconize it automaticly?

Drop the SLI 7950GTs. One 8800 GTX or GTS will do nicely. The GTS will probably save you a few bucks to boot.

XP should see the 4 gigs.
