I just thought I would inform all that Newegg.com is offering the Athlon 64 X2 5200+ for $259.00. Even though core 2 is still the leader, it's still a pretty good deal. It dropped from about $303.00 to $259.00 in 2 weeks or so.

You know what else i got a sweet deal on... an 8800GTS, for the same price of $459 CAD i was about to buy the x1950xtx for. Thank you boxing week! 8)

Well my plan is to stick with this setup until AMD stops making processors compatible with the asus crosshair, then at that point, i'll by the new cpu and a new vid card, i figure 2 -3 years.

That is a good price, and for anyone with an existing AM2 setup with..say.. an x2 3800+, would be a decent upgrade. Of course just overclocking the 3800+ will work, too.

Ya, NCIX is good, too bad i couldn't order all my stuff from them. I had to order my samsung 19" monitor off tiger direct,and i was gona order my aerocool extreme engine 3t from tiger too, but just as i was about to order it they took it out of stock. So i had to find an american site call oxide to buy the case from. So the comp is from 3 places lol. Its a bitch too cuz i keep getting emails from all thse places and baAH...

Most amazing thing happened last week. I ordered my monitor(19in. CRT)from Premier Computer Canada(Lakeshore BLVD..Toronto) at ~4:00-4:15pm on Tuesday...it was in my front door(~160km/100miles) at 10:00am Wednesday morning. I nearly sh!t my pants.... That's fast delivery.

That was like when i ordered the cpu from NCIX a whil back, like a month. I ordered it when it was on crazy sale. Anyway. I order it at like 2am here, 11pm there. I get it not the next day, but the day after first thing in the morning. Crazy
