Hello all,

Im just curious is to if all of these parts look ok to go with and if there is anything that needs to be changed before I hit the ol' order button in the next few days! Mainly will my cpu work with this mobo? Since its a Xeon im not sure.

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813127014

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16819117103

Mem: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16820609026

CPU Cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16835186134

Total: $721 after shipping (cant really go much higher than like $735 max)

P.S. My goal is 3.2ghz on this setup...is that a possibility, my power supply is an Antec NeoHE 550w and my case is an Antec P-180 if that helps anyone? Thx in advance for all the help/opinions...

Best,

Everything will work together. Not sure about the OC potential on that board. Don't know anything about it. If it's a good OCer, you should be able to hit 3.2.

Well I read a review that said the ABIT AW9-D Max was a great overclocker, So I assume the since the differences between that and this one are some firewire and SATA ports then I think it would have same OC potential. It was able to hit 455mhz fsb @ 1.80v to the northbridge and with a little higher voltage was able to hit 473fsb @ 1.95v to the northbridge. Also to add to the question does anyone know what the highest safe voltage to put to the northbridge is. I am only going to be needing 400 - 425mhz on the fsb if I want to attemp 3.4ghz, which I dont think I will. Also I like the quad core support, does anyone recommend a different board?

Thx again!
