I said no, because it basically comes down to one thing, cutting metal. I would advise someone to just buy the case with the holes already in. Also, I think someone could get help easily enough here on that. Not sure of the life span on that section.
Yeah, I painted my case a half dozen times, till I got it right, covering up the bondo was a pain. Then I decided to add a couple more fan holes, and scratch up the side, and had to repaint it, by now the store had ran out of matching paint, so I ended up painting the hole thing over again. What a pain in the butt it was.
I have the mid tower Koolance case, left $179, then bought a full tower case, and switch the water cooler, added a window, and a couple holes for more fans. Now my case looks like this, the one for $279
here My latest ideal was to move the water reservoir out side of the case, right behide the CPU for my hoses would be shorter. As for my light, I had it on the bottom and broke it when I was working on the inside. $30+ bucks down the drain. So yeah, I could add my two cent "buy a case close to what you want already done". Lol..
Its not that I don't want one, you ask if we need one. I'd say for the few bucks you would save, your better off just getting the case with the holes. If I person wants to add the holes, lights, or paint, how many ways are there of doing it, with out getting crazy. See what I'm saying, I can't see it going on and on, maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe i'm on my own on this, but after I went crazy last year looking at modding sites, i'm buying a new Enlight 7237 case. Thinking of trying a window, cold cathodes, couple Antec Trilites/triple blue leds, 80mm or 120mm blowholes in the side or top of case, and maybe some other crap. But that's just me...
Soon enough, Intel will make the i845s...imagine dual channel Sdram...*shudder*
Yes, i strongly think there should be.
A number of times in the past i have wanted to ask case moddish questions and couldnt find a forum suitable. Also, there needs to be a PSU forum too, possibly merge them together and have
Cases, PSU's and Casemods forum
Did anybody see the IDF coverage from THG, with the case modding pics?
HOLY CRAP, I never knew case modding went as far as making Alien bodies cases!
This thing rocks as hell, no wonder some are enthusiastic about case modding! Or that cyberpumpkin, and that mystery box, COOLNESS!

When buying an AthlonXP, please make sure the bus is at 133MHZ, or you will get a lower speed!
yeah there should be just a "CASE" section, so it will take care of PSU problems, quieter fans, wiring, sh!t like that..and also your typical, adding a window, new fan holes, Neon Lighting, and all that good stuff!
id' go for that.. how bad can it be? if you don't like it, then simply don't click on it then.
A case modding section would definately be cool. I've seen this on other forums where the mods just blow you away, especially the cases that were built from scratch.

Definately a forum that specifically says "psu" in the name as there are alot of psu asked questions... and it seems many people dont know where to put them.
Pentium4 Celleron: The computing worlds Rice Car.
Put my "yes" vote in and I think that it's a definitely good idea. It should go into the Overclocking section and PSU and CASEMODDING should intertwine with each other.
How about a "FLOPPY" section?
