Hi all

I am trying to get an AXIS 205 network camera set up with my 3com
router so that I can see the camera on the internet.

Trouble is my ISP uses dynamic IP address allocation.

Now the AXIS 205 has a built in network interface and I have set it up
with a static IP address on my local LAN. I can see the camera locally
no problem.

Does anyone know how to set the configuration of this camera so that
it sends the internet IP address of the router? I have tried following
the instruction printed but they are 'pants' as it only sends the loca
LAN IP Address (192.168.1.1) and not the IP address on the internet.

Any help appreciated

TIA

Its a 3COM OfficeConnect 54G Wireless router (3CRWE754G72).

There is a DNS Screen that says "If your ISP provides you with a
specific DNS address to use, enter the address in this window"

Under that is a checkbox labelled "Automatic from ISP"

My ISP is Wanadoo.co.uk and tha DNS addresses are apparently
195.92.195.94
195.92.195.95

Does that help at all?
