Looking for a free/low cost utility/app so we can monitor and tell where all
of our network bandwidth is going. A few times in the past month, all of a
sudden we will get a broadcast storm, but am unable to identify which client
pc is causing this.

So we need software that can do the following:

1. Show each connected clients bandwidth in real time, who’s using the most
of the network bandwidth, etc….

2.. Show external traffic from outside of our network to each client/ or
server. Showing inbound packets, from the source to destination client
machine.

If you can recommend a good program, would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Hi

For monitoring network there is very good tool available in MS windows
server operating system. Where u can also see TCP three way handshake and
packet wise details. Also you can use Ethereal freely available tool.

As for as monitoring of network bandwidth is concerned lot of tools are
available
like GFILan Guard and also check
