I've been hearing mixed results with overclocking the Asus P5N32.

I plan to purchase a Intel E6600 (2.4Ghz) and was wondering how well will it do when overclocking over 3.2Ghz with this mobo.

Thanks

Like you I have heard mixed reviews. I will let you know what happens with mine and the 6400 i have paired with it. But I can tell you this, its hard to find OC'ing info directly related to it.

Good News!

I have P5N32 SE SLI Deluxe mobo, and its working great, especially for a 1st time clocker like me. Paired it w/ a E6400 & 4 x 512mb Kingston 533mhz memory sticks. OC'ed the 6400 from 2.13 to 2.4, and my cpu actually droped 3 -4 degrees celcius. I also overclocked the 533 memory to 600. the only voltage change was to my memory, but Im thinking of turning it back to stock to see if i can keep up the stability. It also comes with a neat updater to flash new BIOS from the desktop. Im no expert, but I am happy with this mobo.

I'm guessing that your FSB is 300? 300 * 8 = 2400Mhz.

If you can try pushing it pass FSB 333 (after sufficient burning), I heard that must people can't with this mobo.

yeah, actually its like 2.426 or something like that, I am interested in the 333, but not much higher. My wife would cut my fingers off if i toast my new PC. 967.00 might not be much for a gaming rig, but to her its crazy :)

BTW 967.00 shipped to my door I think was a good deal. got a

e6400
p5n32 se sli deluxe.
512 of memory, since I already had 3 other 512 sticks
7600gt OC'ed from the factory.
and a few other things like a custom case with temp moniter and 3 fans, 550 power supply, but its a tier 5 :( (still works fine with the OC)
cd burner and so on.
