Hi, i'm new to these forums and I just came to seek some help because I don't know too much about building computers. I'm trying to build a computer between the 500-600$ range, I have already acquired the motherboard ( and just the mb) , but the rest of the parts i'm not sure about. Thank you in advance for any help that people provide.

MB: Intel D975XBX extreme series

The main problem is the psu, rosewill psu's suck, and bundled psu's are never very good, so your setting yourself up for a major disaster. if your on a budget this is the psu you should get, the best power supply that you could get in that price range.

the graphics card is ok, but a 1900gt will give you much better performance, and its only $20 more.

Thanks ! i'll add the psu to my cart, as for the video card i've always been a fan of nvidia, mostly because I like their software so i'm kinda hesitant about switching to ati.
