I'm looking to upgrade from a Athlon XP 3200+. What would be the best deal on a CPU and Mobo for around ~$200?

Thanks for replying

I looked at the mobo and the form factor is micro ATX. Does it matter when I have a ATX computer case? thanks.

I just asked this question, lol.

I am also looking to get a new video card, But I am willing to spend a bit more, 300 dollars for CPU, Mb and Video Card.

If you have say 2X512MB of DDR400 or something like to pair in dual channel mode, the socket 939 option is the way to go, however, if your RAM is not decent for a 939 then take a look at an AM2 system.

Just found this AM2 X2 3800+ yesterday on newegg:

It's a steal, get a good mombo and 1G of DDR2, all below $300.
