Nvidia 7900gs vs 7950gt (256) - Another what to buy...

Hey all and thanks for reading.

I am looking for opinions between two quailty brands.

1. 7900gs at 600 core 1600 memory (Factory)

or

2. 7950gt at stock (~550/1440?) with "only" 256MB memory (512 is standard?)

They are close enough to the same price that the difference doesnt matter. (In-laws who give cash are the best.)

I dont know enough to accurately predict the increased GS perfromance over the stock versions.

if its an XFX 7900gs, thats a killer card, oveclocki it and you'd be suprised by the performce per dollar
