I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I tried Newegg, to no avail.

He just wants a card to pass time until he has enough money to buy his laptop, and then he's going to build a new PCI-Express system.

The thing is, how good would WoW run on a 6600 versus the X850 Pro?

I'm trying hard to find this card for the $120 price range Tomshardware listed, but it seems impossible.

Most have gone out of supply by now and ATI makes them no longer. However there are other good AGP cards to go with But if hes just going to get PCI-E in the near future and already has a 6600GT why bother?

WoW is an incredibly easy to render game. It even ran Ok on my old FX5200 but I've yet to see it on my 6800GS (It got boring). But it will run quite well on a 6600GT.

The x850pro is actually in stock, but Ive only seen it on tigerdirect and it retails for a whopping 250 bucks USD. A 6600GT would play WoW perfect at high resolution. Friend of mine gets by on his laptop with a Pentium M 2.0Ghz. 1GB ram, Go6800 all maxed on 1440x900 resolution. WoW is one of the easiest games on the market to achieve maximal settings on such low cards.
