Hello,

I have a very old version of the ultimate family tree (3.0), that is not compatible with windows 64 bit. Can I upgrade and convert this data?

If there is a newer version of UFT that works with Windows 7, you may be able to save and import your data from the old one. I suggest you contact the developers and check with them.

Depending on how much effort you want to put into it use a Virtual Machine. You may be able to install a VM of XP for free.

Since the developer has indicated that this software is no longer in production, the virtual machine sounds like it may be the best option. Would you be aware of where could get it, and how to install it?

What version of 7 do you have? With Professional or above, you can install XP mode, that allows you to run XP applications natively inside Windows 7.
