Rams for the P5B Deluxe

Ive been reading that people is having trouble with the p5b and rams. Just wondering does anyone know where to find these type of rams that Asus recommend using for the P5B?

CM2X1024-6400C4
CM2X1024-6400PRO

Or any other rams that will work with this mobo?

I am using this on my P5B Deluxe/WiFi without any issues

CORSAIR XMS2 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

I'm using Patriot DDR2-667 2x1GB Kit and it's been flawless. I've had it up to almost 900MHz before it gave me errors, even with low voltage too. Runs great at DDR2-800 4-4-4-12.

I have the exact same problem finding Ram for my P5B-E plus. read my thread here. I wouldent get the C4's. they use to be made with Micron D9 chips, wich was the same chip used in Corsairs ddr2-8500 moduels. However the chips used today is PROMOS.

this did NOT work on my board. P5B-E plus. neither did the C5 version.

you can get lucky, and get Ram that is identical to DDR2-8500 ram, or you might end up with crud Ram like me, that isent even worth half the price youd pay.
