Go with the 680i.... thats all I have to say! 24hr tech support with EVGA and after 15mins I overclocked my 6600 to 3.4 ghz ON AIR and a PCScore on 3Dmark of 3950 Its rediculous how good the overclocking on this board is!

680i, that's not "cheap".

I suggest the P5B-E ( $151, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131070 ), which has the ICH8R and is reasonably cheap.

The GA-965P-S3, while cheap, does not have a very powerful RAID solution, only supporting RAID 0 and 1.
