Is there a utility that collects all your drives and puts them in one
folder?

XP boots up with the drivers and finds them, so I assume some program could
do the same thing.

Thanks

You'll find most of your drivers under:
C:\Windows\Driver Cache\I386
or
C:\I386

XP finds the drivers because they are registered in the registry, not
because they are in a particular folder (though most are).

I assume you're looking for a program that will find all of your XP drivers
and back them up in a seperate folder? If so, I have used a program called
WinDriversBackup. I think it may have changed names or been taken over by
someone else. I've used it and think it accomplishes that fairly well. I
might still have a copy of it if you want it.

You can get the free version here
http://channels.lockergnome.com/windows/archives/20041224_windriversbackup_107.phtml
Once you install and run it, choose the About icon to check for updates.
The latest version is 1.09. It will update the database for you.
