i have a pentium D 820 2.8 heres some detailed specs:

i have the X1900GT instead of that geforce 7300LE.

ok so when i boot up my computer, i look for the bios menu (or whatever its called) but i can't find it there. none of the things have some sort of cpu config. things. this site says i need to unlock it:

its towards the bottom. will that work or is there a different way of finding it. thanks :)

Ok get a camera and take a few pics of the BIOS screen for us, put them on imageshack (or other photo hosting site) so we can have a look into it, have a look for stuff like 'cpu config' or 'overclock' etc.

Have a little look around, chances are though that you won't find anything as the motherboard is OEM, HP may have disabled overclocking. :o In that case you can't overclock and the only real way getting around this is to buy a new motherboard.

ok my cousin should be coming tommarow and i'll ask him if i can use his camera. i'll post back here soon :P
