What to do with old pc parts

Hey, everyone. I'm just wondering what I can do with old pc parts such as:

NForce 2 motherboard
Radeon 9800 pro
Athlon XP 2800+
Old IDE Hard Disks
1 gig of DDR 1 memory

I'm not sure it would be worth it to try and sell anything. Is there somewhere to recycle PC parts?

that is still for basic needs a very powerful piece of kit, most software will run on tech half that quality. do as RC says or give it to a charity, probably better than most of what they might have unless they're corrupt and spend ridiculous amount of their offices.

Those parts are good for years to come.

@ RobD and BomberBill: I was asking because I may be using some of these parts, like the hard drives or video card, but the the Athlon XP will probably get replaced. I can't sell it, because you could get an Athlon 64 for 15 bucks, much less an Athlon XP. I obviously don't have to have the latest sh*t, I haven't upgraded this computer in over 2 years (and a 9800 pro wasn't even the best 2 years ago)! And what if I'm just going to replace a part and not all of the parts? I still need to do something with the old part.

You can drop it off at my place and I'll dispose of it for a $500 fee...

What if I had said, "what can I do with my 15 year old pentium processor?" Would you have insisted on insulting me for not wanting old parts? Maybe we should all wait 15 years before upgrading. Sounds like a plan. If I replace something in this PC, it will otherwise sit and collect dust, so I thought I'd ask.

I didn't know where else to ask about what to do with old PC parts, so I came here.

@JustPlainJef - I never said I was getting rid of it. I said, "Hey, everyone. I'm just wondering what I can do with old pc parts." If I replace something, the old part probably wont have any resale value, and I don't have a family member to give it to. The parts I listed were examples (possible candidates for replacement). I'm not planning on throwing a machine in the garbage.

Every aspect of that suggestion turns me on.
