I'm thinking of building a new PC in the next few months. Thing is I'm not entirely sure about what I want to put in it. I want a PC for gaming and general usage. I also plan to dual-boot Windows(Vista or XP, I haven't decided yet because of Vista's insane price.) and Kubuntu Linux. So Linux compatibility is high-priority.

Currently I'm thinking of a Nvidia 8800GTS, Dual WD Caviar 320GB HDD's, Core 2 Duo E6600 and a motherboard with a nForce 680i chipset. Oh and a Lian-Li PC-201 Case for it. Problem is I don't know what to get for any of the other components, or if any of the ones I've already thought of will be any good. So... help? :o

Edit: Oh and 2GB of the OCZ Gold DDR2 RAM. Possibly...
