which Processor to buy ??? totaly confused!

hi evry1 this is my first post in this forum , i wanted to know i have money to upgrade to pentium d 945, 512mb ddr2, and a ga-946gm-xx, should i buy it or should i wait to buy an core2duo processor, and another question if i buy a pentium d and lower its mulitplyer till 15x and up the fsb till 266mhz, will this be equal to c2d e6300. if it is equal than i can buy pentium d 945!!!

hey i jst talked to a computer freind he said to wait till next january and there will be c2d e64xx that will be having 4mb L2 cashe, so i think i should wait for it,

This is way off topic, but i'll tell you what i'm totally confused about... this face...

It says smile, but being that i have a 15" crt with 13" viewable, plus 1024x768, its always looks like an angry grin, until i put my face like an inch from the screen and grow a tomour in the process. Does anyone else see an angry grin?

Get a Bigger Monitor, 20+' Inch LCD preferred otherwise a 19'Inch CRT like mine are selling for around a healthy 120$
