I was setting up XP and gave it a partition and a partition for my programs, but I forgot to partition the rest of the drive. So in My Computer, it only shows those two partitions and not the remaining 130gb or so. How do I get the rest of the space to show?

You can either expand one of your existing two partitions, or create a new partition in the unpartitioned space. Try booting Knoppix and using QTParted if you want to expand. You can create a new partition in disk management (should be in control panel -> admin tools)

Either use something like Partition Magic to dynamically increase an existing partition or if you are happy having a third drive of ~130Gb then go Start-Control Panel-Performance and Maintenance-Administrative Tools-Computer Management-Storage-Disk Management. In here you can partition and format unallocated disk space, can't remember the exact steps but right click the space and choose the relevant options.

The second option is the easiest one suggested so far.

Thanks for the replies, but a member at Anand's mentioned this:

Start, Run, type "compmgmt.msc /s" without the quotes.

Worked perfect.

compmgmt.msc

then disc management

you can format the remainder of the hard disc there. plain and simple.
