Power supply 750w or 850w same price?

okay i ordered a 850w TT toughpower but there is 1½ month before it comes in stock and now i got my eye on the SilverStone ST75ZF which is 750W which some clame can do 950w continuous. i looked at http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=108088 and i see its Tier 1 but the question is what would you pick and would it be powerful enough 2 run 2 8800gtx's?

Yes that Silverstone will definitely power two 8800's in SLi.

According to this site the combined +12V rails provide 60A of power so it is more than enough than two 8800 GTX's recommended 50A

And that post you listed even says that it will power an overclocked Conroe and two 8800's (because it's tier 1)

if the extra cables get to be to much for you you could always go at the psu with a pair of wire cutters. Theres always the 850w Enermax Galaxy, its modular, its also $320, so it might be a little out of your budget.

yea well i hope i can hide those cables i dont use behind the motherboard :b and a cable sleeve would probably look better on it

for 100 more watt =D no chance, lol the TT 850w also with cable management cost the same as the 750w silverstone

but anyway im gonna find a way to make it look nice

but yea im thinking about running crossfire with R600 at some time =P i just hope they dont use more watt than the 8800gtx :0 im gonna scream then.
