QuickLaunch ToolBar

Is there any way to control the size (width) of the quick launch tool bar,
or to control the sequence of the icons? My quicklaunch tool bar only shows
3 of 5 apps. And I'd rather to be able to see all 5. An acceptable
compromise would be to move the two hidden icons into the visible area. Any
thoughts? Thanks.

Yup, try this. On your taskbar you will see your icons, at least the three
of them, ); then look for a vertical line, it's very faint, mine is directly
next to my Zone Alarm notification...this is also where any windows that you
may have open but minimized reside..if you don't get my meaning, open
something, then minimize it, you'll see what I mean. Anyway, look for the
bar that separates your quick launch icons from your minimized windows, etc.
Now, hold your mouse pointer over that bar until your pointer becomes a
double-sided arrow. When it does, click and hold your left mouse button as
you drag that bar to the right, which will expand your quick launch area.
If you move it too far to the right, and you have several windows minimized,
you'll see that they are all moved to one spot, and to their immediate right
will be an up and down arrow which you can click in either direction to
change which window you want to select to open.

Be sure to unlock the taskbar first. Right click on the taskbar and uncheck
"Lock the Taskbar." Then repeat this after you change the QuickLaunch
Toolbar to re-lock the Taskbar.

Thank you Colin. Unlocking the Toolbar was the key. I didn't realize it was
locked, so none of those other *suggestions* helped (especially Candy's
smart ass help). Thanks again.
