Which is better...RAM question

Okay, I want to hear your opinion, what would you rather have? 2 GB of really fast RAM, or 4 GB of not so fast RAM (cheapo RAM). For the sake of this discussion, we'll also use 3 GB and 6GB for triple channel use. Debate!
