Hi everyone,

Just wanted to know if having multiple user accounts in windows 7 can affect in any conceivable way your overall system performance.

Thanks for reading,

if you leave all the accounts active instead of logging off then it should slow down your system although not considerably because they would still be taking up resources from your cpu and such...
only bad thing about multiple user accounts that i can think of is using up more hard drive space...

Hi Pedro,

I agree with Tomate2, opening up two or more accounts on a Win-7 computer won't impact system performance, since you are using one account at a time. Each account takes up HDD space and when open some RAM. And you can always delete accounts when not needed, even the account's data if it's of no further value to anyone.
