My subwoofer of the Monsoon MH 505 speaker set is placed beind the Samsung 171P LCD monitor. They are about 8CM apart. Does the subwoofer cause damage to the monitor or is it OK?

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but I was looking to buy the exact same monitor you have. I was wondering if you play games at all with it and if so is there much ghosting? Thanks.

Well unless the monitor itself shakes from the vibes, it should be fine. I did the same w/ my spakers syetm- except it had 3 big subs around it!
