I just purchased a XFX 8800 GTS and realized I can't find any specs for minimum requirements for PSU for GTS. I have seen them for the GTX but not the GTS. If anyone owns one can you let me know the requirements? I am currently running a Ultra 500w PSU with a single 34a +12v rail, will this be enough?

The amps are fine but the brand is not IMO. Ultra is a relatively low quality PSU. If you think it might be a problem check out this thread to help you decide on a good quality PSU (if you want to):
Clicky

P.S Minimum amps for the GTS is 26 (a la the nVidia forums) so 34 is more than enough.

Thanks I was considering upgrading anyway and put the Ultra in my wife's computer where the 7800 is going. Considering the SeaSonic S12 Enery Plus 550w with 4x12v rails @ 18a a piece.

Seasonic is an excellent brand. I wish I had the money to buy one of their's but TT toughpower is good for me. I'm sure you'll be happy with your new PSU/card

Just be aware that is peak amperage on the 12v rails. Total amps is 41a on the 12v rails which is significantly less than 18 amps x 4, or 64 amsp.

Yes I saw the max output was 41a but I feel that should last me a few years anyway. Its a nice bump from what I have and quite a bit more efficient.
