The measure of all the votes for mCCain is one measure of stupidity... and greed. Mainly stupidity.
As for Palin, only stupidity. Seriously, people are too stupid. The biggest problem with stupid people is they don't know they are stupid. When they are told they are stupid, as kindly and gently as possible, they react with more stupidity. Most of us are satisfied with our human appearance, hardly ever improving our mental capacity.
Excuse me, but you're stupid if you believe the only way to heaven is through Christ (blessings be upon him), let alone if you believe in heaven. You're stupid if you believe Islam is the last religion from god. You're stupid if you believe in Satan. You're stupid if you believe there is a god, and you're more stupid if you don't. You're stupid if you think being born on any specific piece of land is significant. You're stupid if you're patriotic. You're stupid if you're sexist, racist, feminist, and you're more stupid if you think you're not.
It all come down to levels of stupidity and most people are pretty stupid. Some of you with smaller testicle may reply big to make up for what is lacking, but lets face it; you're pretty stupid. In fact, if you ever take any of this post personally, you're pretty stupid. I know most of you do take it personally, but it's interesting to see you also deny it. I mean seriously, how the hell do you go on and on with senseless BS? "I like being this way and I enjoy it, F*CK YOU!" No, F*CK you, you bunch of overgrown babies.
How do you justify wasting countless hours of you lives BSing? How many conversations do you hold that have no substance? Like I said, most of you are pretty damn stupid. Don't let me spoil the moment, continue with your nonsense and rambling. It feels good, you should keep doing it, right? Stupid!
"Maggots got in yer brain!?..." I wish some would get in your brain to relieve nature of your waste.
Ever think to yourself who you are without all that surrounds you? Pretty insignificant, no? Now churn that stagnate lard in that shell which you pride. Any signs of electrical activity? Now post a stupid reply, all it takes is a few strokes of keys. You all seem to be able to do that pretty well. "MAGGOTS, KNOB, **** DEAD BODY, BEND OVER".... and more BS

Only when the only reason you say change is because a collective of consulting firms tells you that their studies indicate that the word change has demonstrated the highest positive feedback from the broadest range of test groups.
You dont actually have to change antything, or mean what you say, you just have to say:
"CHANGE!
"

In the red corner you have Obama ... not too savvy but well meaning, charming, and a man of the people. Sounds like he lacks a bit on the policy front ... but then which President ever came into the hot seat knowing everything.
Reagan was an actor ... sounds like this guy might know a bit more at least.
In the blue corner you have a guy from a retirement home, and his offsider who seems to have no dimplomacy and little international political knowledge, and is keen to keep your forces busy ... one of those we worry about in terms of having access to the big red button.
Gotta feel a bit sorry for the US troops ... some damn fine people you have there ... and I'd like to think they might deserve a decent holiday after the last few years of battles.
I think they should just bomb any suspected terrorists with paint ... a few tons at a time.
Then they would be so busy washing clothes they wouldn't have time to run around with an AK47.
Lets think a bit laterally eh??
Thats the view from a non-US person from afar.
Good luck.
I look at politics much like I look at religious beliefs. You have yours. I have mine. I don't want to get into a debate most of the time, so don't shove your beliefs down my throat. I'd much rather have something along these lines:
Neighbor: So, what way are you leaning in the election?
Me: Well, I'd rather see McCain in office.
N: Personally, I think Obama would be better for the country.
Now, I have the option of saying:
Something non-committal: Either way, we are screwed.
Something to end the conversation: Well, yeah, Obama could be OK too.
Or, I could see if he wants to argue about it: Why would Obama be the better choice?
Stupid Scammy...
When discussing, politics, religion or sport it's important to remember the three golden rules.
1, I'm right
2, You're wrong
3, Get over it.

McCain has jumped on that bang wagon also. I was leaning towards McCain, then he picked Palin...
Im going with option 3: None Of The Above.
I tend to think McCain picking Palin was purely political (I know, I Know.....dont say it)
.
....statistically....A way to attract the female vote with ou the threat of a female running for the #1 slot while at the same time going after the NRA vote, the military vote and the single mom vote. Honestly, shes got so many special interests/angles wrapped up in one package its like shes a construct.

If only she believed in the US!
Free alaska now!
Dont forget to Free Pueto Rico, The Samoan Islands, and Guam.
We can keep Wake, Johnson Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway and the Marianas----just for historical value
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU.....IF NOTHING ELSE, FREE PUERTO RICO. Unloading that drag on the economy would go a long way to offseting the deficit.

I explained it to my mother-in-law this way: Woudl you rather get hit by a car travelling 80 mph or 30 mph?
Either way you're going to get hit, but you stand a better chance of survival with the slower car, e.g. McCain.
I thought about this on my run this morning: Is the mainstream media trying to portray / spin Palin as an empty suit a la what the alternative media is protraying Obama? Answer: one of the real problems with Palin is that she is having to now tow the campain line. It's obvious that she is uncomfortable with some of McCain's proposed policies, but she did accept the nomination.
As far as the reason for picking Palin there were only a few that we thought might be viable: Bobby Jindal, Tom Tancredo, Mike huckabee. . . but when it became apparant that Obama wasn't even vetting Clinton, Palin became the obvious choice. That and McCain needed a real conservative on the ticket to excite the base. I think it has been one of the more brilliant political moves in my lifetime (it would be if they actually win), second only to Perot's effect on the 1992 (and subsequent 1996) presidential election, the 1994 Contract With America.
And that about sums it up. Apple pie anyone??
Indeed.

I agree that it may be one of the more brilliant political moves in your lifetime, but then again it may not. If enough people believe that it was purely political, that McCain could give a crap less about the policy 'statement(s)' his choice seemingly made or that he claimed, and was just going for spec interest votes, the choice could possibly PO enough people to backfire.
Just a possibility.

Like I said: if they win.
Is there any vote that is not a 'special' interest?
Well if your voting for McBain and Tinkerbell, then good luck.
Surely these two must qualify as a couple of the horesemen your waiting for ... ??
dwellman wrote : Is the mainstream media trying to portray / spin Palin as an empty suit
No, she's just an idiot who's in waaaay over head. The media can't portray her in any light if they're not allowed to talk to her.
dwellman wrote : Answer: one of the real problems with Palin is that she is having to now tow the campain line. It's obvious that she is uncomfortable with some of McCain's proposed policies, but she did accept the nomination.
No, she's got a team of people trying, so far in vain, to get her up to speed and her head is spinning.
dwellman wrote : I think it has been one of the more brilliant political moves in my lifetime
It's one of the worst in mine. A man basing his campaign on leadership and making smart decisions picks her? Her??? In the debate Thursday night she first said "Government get out of my way" and "Government isn't always the answer, it's usually the problem" only later to say "we must demand more government oversight." All politicians are supremely full of sh*t, she is ignorantly so.
Meh.
Exactly!
Twice!
(I'll second that)

I get wasted drunk and then vote. It resembles our countries thought process.
I'll be happy with an American president that deals with the crap inside his/her/it's own country than with the crap in other countries.
Dream on...
Wishful thinking, I know.
Stand up for Chuck!

if i get hit by a car at 30 im more likley to live in horrible pain....
if i get hit by a car doing 80 ill be dead, so i wont care less.
i would choose the 80MPH car.
If I get hit by a car doing 10-15 mph I'm likely to have to go home and change my shirt.[/new years eve]
What! no insurance claim?
No, the car was fine. I was in a good mood, else I'd have kicked fcuk into it and the driver too.
