ASUS P5B-E Good for OCing?

How does this board handle over clocking. I am planning on using Super Talent DDR2 800 with a c2d e6400; any problems there. Also, how does it compare to the Gigabyte p-ds3? I currently own 2 Asus boards (3+ years old) and have not had any problems before with Asus. For $15 more than the DS3, is it worth it?

I wouldnt buy it off the egg, they arent shipping v1.02 which is the version that overclocks exceedingly well. The DS3 would be a safer choice.

Is there a version 1.02 of the P5B Deluxe? If so, does the egg sell that one?

Those revision types only apply for the P5B-E, P5B Dlx is a completely different animal.
P5B Dlx is about the best FSB overclocker there is right now, its a very stable board with no software, peripheral problems whatsoever. You will be delighted.
