The 6600LE is a stand-alone graphics card that comes with its own discrete memory. Only graphics that are integrated into the motherboard (like the GeForce 6100/6150, or Radeon Xpress 200) use shared memory.

Are you planning on buying one or what?

 dont buy it i had one and it sucked. you could get a 7600 gs or 7300 gt for the same price and there better for agp. if its pcie and on a budget get a 7600 gt, try evga and if you get some more green before 90 days you can step up without losing a dime. if someone is given it to you take it it will play games just not in a good resolution. good luck

the 6600 le is a cut down version of the vanilla 6600. 4 pixel pipelines instead of 8. dont get me wrong old games do play fine as long as its not doom 3, far cry what not. there is better options for around the same price.try newegg. you can get something under a hundred that would get you bye. read toms video card buyers guide on front page. it might help with some of your questions.
