I had set some files to be encrypted. They were backed up and since
then I've had to restore them from a system crash. Now I cannot access
the files because the backups are encrypted. Is there any way of
decrypting the files or am I SOL? Thanks.

Try use administrator domain account to decript the files. By desig this
account is a Recovery Agent and has rights to remove encription of domain
files.

I tried that but when I uncheck the option (file attribute) "Encrypt
contents to secure data," I get an error message saying "Error applying
attributes to file...Access is denied." This happens whether I'm on the
Administrator account or not.
