hi, i just got a laptop and when i plug in the wireless internet card it shows i have a connection from my wireless router but whenever i try to go on internet exploreror or aol it shows i have no available connecton.what could be wrong. :(

Did you run the network wizard to setup the network on the laptop?

Certain settings must be right to actually get on the internet. You can have a signal but not have network access.
