Bought this game 2 weekends ago, and i m really enjoying it. Anyway, after
the RB patch, and the reboot i can't execute this particular game anymore. It
keeps on hanging in the process list (not in the application list) at 50% (my
PIV is a Hyperthreading). The process can't be killed. In a normal run the
StarForce window should appear to check the discID, before it continues. I
have tried these things:

-un-,rebooted and re-installed. Normally with a first run it asks for discID
and serial key, which didn't do.
-yesterday i found a StarForce driver removal tool. Used it, rebooted, and
after executing the game it says the install was a success and i needed to
reboot. After reboot, same problem.

I contacted the developper (Mediamobsters), put the question on 2 Microsoft
forums and now in 2 newsgroups. Yesterday also contacted StarForce
Technologies. There is no no-cd patch available, so i can't check what kind
of error it could be. Anyway, useful tips to solve it would be very welcome.
I have another SF protected game (it s newer), which runs fine, even after
the RB patch.

desperate,

Tonny

Found and tried a no-cd patch, v1.0. It works, but it lacks the features of
the updates, which are necessary.
