I am looking at this psu:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182044
and this vid card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130017
psu statest the following:
12v1 @ 15a, 12v2 @ 16a
3.3v + 5v = 130w
12v1 + 12v2 +3.3v + 5v = 480w
So 480w -130w = 350w
350w/12v = 29 amp total on 12v
vid card states:
18amps
SLI mode = 24 amps
but how does all this work with the 12v rails (both with lower amps)? What does two 12v rails actually "do"? vs one 12v rail with 29amps?
