well,we have a very similar setup, what I did, was update my bios to F7 then I increased my CPU voltage 2 steps up from what the default is, I also raised my RAM voltage to what the default should be, because the MOBO will ""UNDRVOLT" your ram, so you have to know how much it is undervolted and what the default ram voltage should be then you can raise it accordingly.

The next thing i did was I began raiseing my FSB, I also made sure that my RAM timeings were at 4-4-4-12 for my ram, your ram may differ. I raised my FSB by about 10-15 MHS and every 400MHZ I ran Prime 95 which is a CPU stability test. So far I have gotten to exactly 3.0GHZ on stock cooling with idle temps of 37C and load temps of 53C.
