First boot: PC Doesnt turn off

I did my first boot without ram(since I dont have any) just to see if smoke was gonna come out which it didnt. =)

The problem is the power button turns on the PC just fine but it wont trn off. I tried pressing reset then power, holding power down for like 3 seconds, holding both reset and power, I dunno wha to do.

Any help?

Thanx!

More about first boot doesnt turn
  1. Hold the power button down for 5 seconds...if that doesnt work I think its time to pull the plug.
  2. Recheck the pin layout again as well.
  3. we're not magicians, put your system specs, honestly, its very rare than a current motherboard wont support the power down...

maybe you didnt installed all the cables of the case to the mobo correctly.
  4. Just leave the machine on all the time.

    ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Mobo
    XDreamer Case

Remenber, there is no ram, so I think that the board doesnt turn off.. you better do a plug out, that doesnt do nothing... :P
