The INF is an excellent heatsink. I am OC'd to 3.4ghz with core at 3.9v. My temps idle 47-48c and load around 56c. I can even go sans cpu fan with acceptable temps.
Also, a great fit on the i680. Just make sure you attach it with the motherboard out of the case - it's much easier.
i just ordered the 6600 and the scythe fan/heatsink and i am thinking i should of went with the Zalman!!
but i have been reading reviews and i heard that the scythe is good
but just to make sure i shouldnt exchange it i need to ask some more experienced people
will the Scythe overclock the 6600 well on the EvGA 680i?
Get the tuniq tower 120. The fukin stupid zalman is the most overrated aftermarket hsf ever and I get pissed every time I hear the stupid word now because everyone is like get a ZZZAAALLMAAANNNNN DDDDUUUUDDEEEEEEEE!
I have my E6400@3.5ghz with 1.4vcore and idle at 33c with P95 loads of just 56c.

Um...Well said. I just supress my rage, that way, instead of screaming at a guy on a forum today, i go into a Burger King in 5 years and slaughter everyone there with a machete.

8O 8O 8O 8O I think I will stay away from BK for awhile
so do you think i should not even bother opening the box and send it back to newegg and then get the tuniq tower?
cost an extra 10 dollars but WOW, 10 dollars!!
The Scythe Infinity is a GREAT cooler, it's not much worse than the Tuniq Tower 120, and personally I'd use iether.
Im sorry but I used to think the same thing till I changed out my scythe infinity to a tuniq tower. Temps under the same overclock dropped 12c at idle and around the same or better at load temps. And yes before anyone ask I had an excellent mount with the Scythe Infinity.
The tuniq is just an incredible air cooler. Period.

The Tuniq Tower 120 has been out of stock at newegg for months, they're virtually impossible to find. Stick with the Scythe Infinity, its a great hsf.
newegg.com is just one of many reputable online retailers. The tuniq tower is in stock at these locations and is well worth choosing over the scythe infinity especially when you consider the fact that they cost around the same and the tuniq performs a good bit better.
