From first hand XP...

The INF is an excellent heatsink.  I am OC'd to 3.4ghz with core at 3.9v.  My temps idle 47-48c and load around 56c.  I can even go sans cpu fan with acceptable temps.

Also, a great fit on the i680.  Just make sure you attach it with the motherboard out of the case - it's much easier.

Bless you,

Still waiting on a study for homicides committed with a pregger wife around, gotta vent on somebody.

Agreed on the zalman, fairly good fans, but I hate that open "flower" style.

Much prefer the stack style, if your case has the room.

Just moved to watercooling, and enjoying the low temps, but not helping my 6600 get past 3.4, even with temps less than 48C on Orthos.

The Scythe Infinity is a GREAT cooler, it's not much worse than the Tuniq Tower 120, and personally I'd use iether.

Im sorry but I used to think the same thing till I changed out my scythe infinity to a tuniq tower. Temps under the same overclock dropped 12c at idle and around the same or better at load temps. And yes before anyone ask I had an excellent mount with the Scythe Infinity.

The tuniq is just an incredible air cooler. Period.

The Tuniq Tower 120 has been out of stock at newegg for months, they're virtually impossible to find. Stick with the Scythe Infinity, its a great hsf.

newegg.com is just one of many reputable online retailers. The tuniq tower is in stock at these locations and is well worth choosing over the scythe infinity especially when you consider the fact that they cost around the same and the tuniq performs a good bit better.
